April 28th, 2020 — 3:00 P.M. Update
It is feel good Tuesday, and what makes each of us feel good is different. “A smile is worth a thousand words.” We all have a quote that means something special to us. Here’s a good one: “25% of every day should be fun and that includes work and home.”
Tuesday is a day to choose to bless everyone you meet; a day to choose to be kind, considerate, and compassionate; a day to be humble by showing how much you put others before yourself; and a day to celebrate love with your family, friends, and those we serve.
Whatever makes you feel good, continue doing it. Share with someone what makes you feel good and keep on smiling.
Expanded COVID-19 Testing
Beginning this week, MDHHS expanded testing criteria as the state continues to work to increase testing supplies and access. Now any Michigander displaying mild symptoms or any essential worker still reporting to work in person, whether symptomatic or not, is eligible to get a test with an order from a health care provider. Contact your healthcare provider for more information.
Weekly Update Schedule
We want to officially let everyone know that we are moving the 3:00 p.m. update to Tuesday and Thursday. In the event that there is time sensitive information, we will send out a special 3:00 p.m. email. We appreciate the comments that we received, and we continue our commitment to keeping everyone informed.
