Installing and Accessing your Remote Desktop

With the Microsoft Remote Desktop app, you can connect to a remote PC and your work resources from almost anywhere. Experience a rich Windows experience with RemoteFX in a Remote Desktop client designed to help you get your work done wherever you are.

  • Download the RD Client app from one of the links above
  • Open App and select the “+” button to create a new terminal server connection
  • Select “Desktop
  • Enter your server name ending with “.cls.org” under “PC Name” (EXAMPLE: BRETON.CLS.ORG, HOSPICE.CLS.ORG, FACILITYSERVICES.CLS.ORG, ATRIO.CLS.ORG, ETC)
  • Select “Additional Options
  • Under “Gateway“, select “Add Gateway
  • Enter “tsgateway.christianlivingservices.org” under “Server Name” and then select “Save
  • Select the Gateway you had just created
  • Go back to “Desktop” and then select “Save
  • To connect, select your new Remote Desktop
  • Enter your username with “cls\” in front and your password (EXAMPLE: USERNAME:  “CLS\JSMITH”) and connect
